The next quarterly meeting of the the Oadby Residents’ Forum will be on this Thursday 19th July at 6.30pm at Trinity Methodist Church, Worship Centre, 60 Harborough Road, Oadby, Leicester, LE2 4LA

The meeting is a open to Oadby residents and community organisations. Local councillors and council officers are available for a “surgery” session between 6pm and 6.30pm if residents wish to discuss local issues in confidence.

Meeting papers and an agendaare available here.

The Forums were introduced by the Liberal Democrats several years ago to transfer some decision-making and limited spending powers directly to residents and community organisations in Oadby, Wigston and South Wigston.

They have been highly successful as a way of residents improving Oadby and as an effective means for residents, officers and councillors to communicate.

Please do come along this Thursday.
